The output of the project is a business case which provides a consensus opinion on each of these questions arrived at through stakeholder consultation. It is important to note that in this consultation, we are not starting at ground zero – consultation has already taken place with various stakeholders on directions for a new data exchange through the Business-to-Business Working Group of CRALO, the development of the CRALO issues list, and work with admissions and CIO’s in colleges. This project will begin where previous consultations left off, and will be completed in four months time.

The Business Case will comprise approximately 40 pages covering these areas:

• Executive Summary
• Integration Vision & Strategy
• High Level Business Integration Process Model
• Implementation Strategy including Priorities and Sequencing
• Benefits & Risk Statement
• Constraints and Assumptions
• High Level Development and Implementation Schedule
• High Level Budget

The business case will form the basis of a project proposal to design a replacement to what is at present known as the ‘Coltrane’ or College Transmission System.
