OCAS Launches New International Application Service for Ontario’s Colleges
GUELPH, ON, January 16, 2018 – After launching the first phase of a new application system in May, OCAS is now pleased to announce the rollout of their complete International Application Service (IAS) – a unique platform designed to simplify international application and admissions processes for Ontario’s colleges and international agents.
OCAS is renowned in Ontario for delivering a modern, efficient application experience, and now that same experience is available to the world. The OCAS IAS offers one seamless solution that consists of three distinct portals tailored to the needs of admissions and recruitment teams at Ontario’s colleges, international agents working on behalf of applicants, and international applicants themselves.
The three portals form an efficient, effective, and easy-to-use service that brings colleges, agents, and applicants together, providing automated offer and communications processes, secure data exchange with college Student Information Systems, and analytics. It also helps colleges save time and money, while significantly improving the speed and quality of service for applicants.

The OCAS IAS was developed in consultation with 15 Ontario public colleges; Confederation College in Thunder Bay and Cambrian College in Sudbury were the first to opt in to the new service. Conestoga College and Sault College will be next to come on board with the IAS launching this winter.
