OCAS named one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2021

GUELPH, ON, December 3, 2020 – OCAS, a Guelph-based organization delivering shared technology and application services for Ontario’s public colleges, has been named one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for a sixth consecutive year.

Now in its fourteenth year, this annual competition recognizes employers in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph who lead their industries in offering exceptional work environments.

“We’re honoured to be recognized as a Top Employer in the Waterloo area for the sixth year running,” said Karen Creditor, President and CEO of OCAS. “This year, more than ever, OCAS is proud of our incredible team who have gone above and beyond to support our partners, learners, and each other throughout this challenging time.”

Employers are evaluated on the following standards: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social activities; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

“Our employees are what makes OCAS a great place to work, and with the challenges we’ve overcome this year, we’ve seen what a strong team we have,” said David Hong, OCAS’ Vice-President, Customer and Employee Success. “With the shift to working remotely, we’ve created space to ensure we can stay connected, collaborate, and maintain our fun-loving company culture.”
