OCAS named one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2023
Guelph, ON (December 1, 2022) – OCAS, a Guelph-based organization that delivers shared technology and application services to Ontario’s public colleges, has been named one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2023. This is the eighth consecutive year OCAS has earned this recognition.
“Being recognized as a Waterloo Area Top Employer for the eighth year is especially meaningful to us,” said Marc Provencher, President and CEO of OCAS. “With the challenges we and all other organizations have faced and continue to face in recent years, we’re incredibly proud of the OCAS team and the impact we make together.”
Organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, the annual Waterloo Area’s Top Employers competition recognizes local employers who lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
Employers are evaluated on the same eight criteria as the national competition: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere and Social; (3) Health, Financial, and Family Benefits; (4) Vacation and Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.
“We strive to provide a workplace that our employees feel proud to work for,” said David Hong, OCAS’ Vice-President, Customer and Employee Success. “This award is a reflection of our commitment to putting the wellbeing of our employees first and ensuring we have the right supports in place, so our team members feel appreciated and empowered.”
